United Church of Christ President and minister, Rev. John Thomas will reflect upon what the ONA movement means to the church on Wednesday June 24, 2009 at 6:00 pm. Tickets are still available. "Is it well?" Worship (Thursday)

The UCC Coalition Growing BOLD choir will be performing on Thursday, June 25, 2009, in the Pantlind Ballroom of the Amway Grand Hotel.  The service begins at 7:30pm and is a collaboration with the Urban ministries and Disabilities ministries of the UCC.

We are seeking volunteers to help serve communion at that service. Orientation will be at 7:00pm. If you are interested, please contact Michelle Sims at 216-861-0779.

UCC Coalition luncheon (Friday)

The UCC Coalition luncheon at General Synod will be held on Friday, June 26, 2009, at the Convention Center. If you have not reserved your tickets yet, please call the UCC Coalition office.  Tickets *may* be available at the door.

Urvashi Vaid, former Executive Director of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, Executive Director of the Arcus Foundation, community organizer and attorney will join us, speaking with us on the topic of how The UCC Coalition's Open and Affirming work relates to the national LGBT movement.
