A self-proclaimed “Liberation Theologian,” Gwen Thomas is a student of theology and is a candidate for licensing in the United Church of Christ. She serves as a lay minister at the Victory Church in Stone Mountain, GA. At Victory, she is the coordinator of the Gateway Ministry—a ministry geared toward welcoming and affirming all persons who see themselves or have been treated as “outsiders” by the church. Gwen also teaches adult-level Christian education.

Gwen has facilitated many women’s retreats and spiritual workshops and is presently a consultant for the Southeast Conference of the United Church of Christ.

People on three continents agree that Gwen is dynamic and inspiring. She masterfully uses wit and wisdom to teach, train and motivate individuals to succeed in all their life endeavors. As an international trainer, consultant and motivational speaker, she has provided training and motivational speaking throughout the United States, in the Caribbean and six other countries; including Australia and New Zealand. She has spent the majority of her professional life motivating and teaching others in professional positions and in spiritual environments.

Gwen shares life lessons and experience, strength and hope learned on her own journey of self-discovery. Gwen is the author of The S.H.E. Experience: How to claim, re-claim and embrace absolute power in your life (Author House Publishing, 2008).
