The Center for Lesbian and Gay Studies in Religion and Ministry (CLGS) at Pacific School of Religion has created a web-based Marriage Project, now available on its web site at www.clgs.org.

This resource kit has lots of ideas about things you can do to help educate and motivate folks in your city or state to support and work for an end to discrimination in marriage. It was developed for Freedom to Marry day, but you can use these ideas on anyday.

FaithfulAmerica.org, an online advocacy service for persons with religious motivations for involvement in civic life. Not aligned with any political party, FaithfulAmerica.org offers its members an easy way to send messages to their elected officials, communicate with each other, sign petitions, and access inspiring sermons and commentaries from religious leaders about moral and spiritual challenges facing our society. Membership is free. It is a project of the National Council of Churches, with support from TrueMajority and ResPublica. http://www.councilofchurches.org/

www.GayRites.net is a new Web community devoted to the many rituals of lesbian and gay life. The site includes resources on subjects from coming out through travel to weddings, commitment ceremonies, adoption and building strong lesbian and gay relationships. The site features community forums in which experts moderate several of the ongoing discussions. The site also features a wedding gift registry, regular columns, lesbian and gay news, shopping and travel resources. GayRites.net offers a large and growing library of available books, videos and other resources featuring subjects such as planning a wedding or commitment ceremony, legal and financial issues, strengthening relationships, adoption and child-rearing and many other subjects of use and interest to lesbian and gay people and their families.The Coalition does not sponsor nor vouch for the conent of this site.
