Marriage EqualityThe Coalition encourages members and friends to engage in faith-based conversation around marriage equality as a means to develop or strenghten local chapters or groups. In addition, the United Church of Christ has developed a resource, "God is Still Speaking About Marriage" that is available on the UCC website for download. A resource designed for Christian clergy meeting with same-gender couples prior to a blessing or marriage ceremony. This collection includes reflections of the meaning of covenantal relationship, unique issues which arise when working with same-gender couples, questions to explore with couples, and more. Freedom to Marry has a number of useful resources on its website. In particular, the Freedom to Marry resource kit has lots of ideas about things you can do to help educate and motivate folks in your city or state to support and work for an end to discrimination in marriage.
