What do you want to find? Stories

Share your stories with us!

As the Coalition nears its 40th birthday, a generation has grown up in a church that has become a safe place for LGBT Christians, with nearly 1,000 UCC congregations committing publicly to an Open and Affirming ministry. Together, we have changed and are changing the church by ever-expanding how we manifest the extravagant welcome of Jesus Christ.

We're now inviting our LGBT members, and their families and friends, to tell their stories about the ways the Coalition has made a difference. Won't you share your personal story, or stories of lives changed by the extravagant welcome in the UCC?

There are two options:

Share your stories on The Coalition's Facebook page

or

email us at office (at) ucccoalition (dot) org
if you prefer to remain anonymous, or if you don't have a Facebook account. Your stories will be posted on the Facebook site.

Important: All stories will be shared publicly as a witness to our work together. If sharing any information about someone other than yourself, please do not include any identifying information, including the local community or church.

Welcome to the website of the United Church of Christ (UCC) Coalition for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Concerns. We're glad for your interest in our ministries. We hope you find what you need here and contact us for further information.
